So I have been testing out my skin care regiment and I decided that I needed a few more items. Today I picked up from the Asian Shops:

It broke me out... :(( and I don't mean acne bumps like a day after, I mean eczema rash bumps galore, literally taking-over-my-face, itchy, allergic type breakout within 2 hours.

I am still gonna test it again, maybe twice to confirm 'cause, I just cant believe I have been looking for it forever and now this happens. Sigh.

Black Opal Foundation Shade Confusion

If you have visited the Black Opal website before, you have probably noticed that there are 8 shades featured:

Kalahari Sand
Heavenly Honey
Rich Caramel
Truly Topaz
Nutmeg
Beautiful Bronze
Hazelnut
Carob.

Recently I have discovered a few other shades available that are deeper that the ones on the website. Huh? Why aren't they on the website?

Au Chocolate
Black Walnut
Suede Mocha
Ebony Brown

On the Iman website >Meet Your Match< I have seen two more I have never heard of.

French Chocolate
Cocoa cream

Now, I am confused. Have they discontinued these shades? I have seen Au Chocolate in Jamaica but apparently it is only available in some formulations.

Lemme know if you have seen these new shades.

Product Find: *Discontinued Black Radiance Sheer Blushes

I have been keeping my eyes open on the look out for these blushes which SOOO many WOC have been raving bout on the WWW. But before I even got a chance to try them out, they got discontinued *uggh.

Just when I completely gave up on these blushes, I found them! They just fell in my lap (and for a good price:)! Here's your chance to snatch 'em up, they were scarce to begin with anyway!

Here are some of the beauty items that I have had my eyes on for quite some time. Hopefully I will gather all of these items before Xmas >.^


Face Care:

 I haven't been taking good care of my skin lately. I need to get going with my regimen.

• Queen Heleene Mint Julep Masque  (I have used this before and I love it)
• Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer (I need to step my oil fighting game up, fi real)

 
Foundations/Setting Powders:

I am having serious foundation issues, and by the looks of it, many women of colour are having or had these issues at some point in time. I am determined to get the right foundation for my skin shade/undertone/type and for cheap! That's right. I'm keeping it frugal or die trying.

At least I am not the only one with this problem

I think I have a jacked up perception of my skin colour though, honestly. Its as if I can't see my colour/foundation shade. When I apply makeup I cant see if it matches or not :/ sad but true. I can see these things on other people but not in a mirror. This is where friends come in, I am not walking out the door again in black/orange/red/ashy foundation... yes, I have done it before *smh, Not cute
